My review of the online bookmarking site diigo.com

Hi and nice to see you there with me!✋
Today I am going to talk about online bookmarking site Diigo.com

Diigo enables effective collaborative research. You can easily share the link, complete with annotations and notes, with your friends and colleagues. A development team, class or club can create a group on Diigo to bring together the thematic resources they find for joint exploration and discussion.

1. SAVE BOOKMARKS

The first function of the Diigo service is to save bookmarks. At the same time, not only the URL of the page is saved in the profile, but also its cached version. This means that it will be possible to gain access to valuable information even if the site containing it ceases to exist. However, there is an unpleasant nuance here: caching is reserved for premium accounts, that is, when using free services, you should not rely on it.

2. READ AND ANNOTATE

This option allows you not only to save a link to the page, but also to mark important information for you, add some comments and notes for the future.

3. ANNOTATE PDF

The Annotate PDF function allows documents to be stored in Diigo in this format, with annotations and revisions made. You can highlight important information to quickly find it, mark some points, leave notes in the margins.

4. SHARING LINKS

In addition to saving bookmarks, notes, screenshots and documents for yourself, there is an opportunity to share them with others. To do this, select the appropriate entry in the user's account, click the three dots next to it and select "Get shareable link".

PREMIUM VERSION: RATES AND BENEFITS

The basic free version of Diigo offers a limited set of features. As mentioned, there is no page caching feature available for saving pages. Also, the free version has a limited number of bookmarks (only 500), notes in documents and on websites (100), and ads are displayed in the personal account.

The disadvantage of Diigo is the lack of the Russian language. But there is nothing difficult using the service. Whether you specifically need this service is difficult to say, it all depends on the tasks. Nobody bothers to get acquainted with the service, try and understand whether it is interesting to you or not.❤
