FUTURE LEARN

If talking about language learning, I really love Language courses from Future Learn. Here you can not only learn a new language, but explore new cultures and discover work and travel opportunities. FutureLearn is owned by The Open University, a British-based university that has long specialized in distance education. FutureLearn partners with dozens of universities and cultural institutions around the world to provide courses. Courses contain video, audio and articles. Plus, discussion topics are meant to stimulate conversation between learners.

Most courses offer the option of learning for free or upgrading. If you learn for free, you have access to all the course material except for tests for the duration of the course plus two more weeks. If you upgrade, you have unlimited access to course materials during and after the course, have access to tests and receive a certificate upon completion.

Courses are usually six to ten weeks long and require two to five hours of work per week.

Courses are flexible, you can start now and study at your own pace. Being able to register for free and many MOOCs are free certificate courses. Engage and feedback with your fellow learners. Deadlines are flexible according to your schedule.

Wikiversity

Hi there! Today I'm going to talk about  Wikiversity Wikiversity  is a  Wikimedia Foundation  project devoted to  learning resources ,  learning projects , and  research  for use in all  levels , types, and styles of education from pre-school to university, including professional training and informal learning. It differs from Wikipedia in that it offers tutorials and other materials to facilitate learning, rather than an encyclopedia; like Wikipedia, it is available in many languages.  One of the elements of Wikiversity is the collection of WikiJournals, which publish peer-reviewed articles in a stable, indexed, and cited format comparable to academic journals; they can be copied to Wikipedia and are sometimes based on Wikipedia entries. As of November 2020, there are Wikiversity sites operating in 17 languages, containing a total of 123,964 articles and 1,186 recently active editors. The Wikiversity e-learning model focuses on "l...

Most of the services are presented in the form of web applications, which can be used with an Internet connection and a web browser only. Thus, it is possible to access your data without being tied to one device, from anywhere in the world. I think most of you are familiar with some of the Google tools. It is difficult to find an Internet user who has never used Google search or watched Youtube videos. But it seems to me that not everyone knows that Google also offers a large number of other tools that can be effectively used in learning. They are all free, reliable, and easy to use. Google Drive is a data warehouse where you can place text, images, photos, audio, video, presentations, and so on. If you use Google Drive as part of Google Apps for Education, then you will not have restrictions on the amount of stored files, which is quite convenient, since you do not need to ...
